Dr Phil Puckridge is a Vascular and Endovascular Surgeon with over 14 years’ experience. He is committed to providing excellence in care for all of his patients.
He studied medicine in Adelaide before completing his surgical training in Australia and New Zealand. He took a position in New Zealand as a Consultant Vascular Surgeon, but returned home to Adelaide in 2006 to start work in the south of Adelaide and in Flinders Medical Centre.
Dr Puckridge treats the spectrum of all vascular disorders but has a particular interest in the treatment of peripheral arterial disease, venous disease, the diabetic foot and aneurysmal disease. He has expertise in the endovascular treatment of aneurysmal disease including complex thoracic aortic disease.
He is invited to travel internationally to share his expertise in endovascular treatment of peripheral arterial disease, aneurysmal disease and venous disease, including treatment of varicose veins with minimally invasive techniques and venous stenting.
He is frequently involved as faculty in both international and national conferences and leads teaching and training of other surgeons through courses at Flinders Medical Centre and Flinders Private Hospital. These courses are organised for Australian and internationally based vascular surgeons and specialists to learn from his expertise.
