Dr Jonathon Schubert

Gastroenterologist

Dr Jonathon Schubert is a consultant Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist with expertise in advanced endoscopic resection techniques, including Endoscopic Submucosal Dissection (ESD) and Endoscopic Mucosal Resection (EMR), as well as the management of complex gastrointestinal neoplasia. His clinical practice encompasses Barrett’s oesophagus, small bowel enteroscopy, capsule endoscopy, and endoscopic ultrasound, with a focus on delivering comprehensive, evidence-based care for patients with complex gastrointestinal and liver conditions.

Dr Schubert completed his PhD at the University of Adelaide, where his research examined the optimisation of Helicobacter pylori management and its role in gastric cancer.
